Plumbing

We ensure that the water distribution system meets optimum performance parameters and the functional requirements of the installation. Water requirement is calculated on the basis of occupancy and area served, to plan storage tanks of adequate capacity.

Water Supply, Pumping, Piping and Distribution

We ensure that the water distribution system meets optimum performance parameters and the functional requirements of the installation. Water requirement is calculated on the basis of occupancy and area served, to plan storage tanks of adequate capacity.

Pumping systems are selected based upon the best efficiency on the duty curve and the quality of water being supplied. In case of piping design, fixture unit method is used in accordance to national NBC and/or international (ASPE/UPC) standards.

We design the water distribution for hot and cold water in accordance with zoning principle to ensure the availability of adequate residual head at user outlet. Pipe material is selected in accordance to the service temperature, pressure and quality of water. All necessary appurtenances such as pressure gauge, temperature gauge, auto air vent and isolation /control valves are provided for efficient monitoring and control of water flow.

Soil and waste disposal piping is designed to ensure high standard of hygiene and reliability and to avoid exposure to occupants and unsanitary conditions. The two pipe drainage system is provided with anti-siphonage pipe to ensure high degree of safely and hygiene and to avoid foul smell entering the piping system and public areas through drains.

We give due design consideration to the placement of the stacks in the shafts and routing of pipes in the bathrooms, toilets, laundry and kitchens to ensure easy access and maintenance of pipes.

The Storm/Rain water drainage system is based on the maximum rainfall intensity for the city. A separate and independent rain water drainage system is provided to collect rain water from roofs, balconies, planters, paved areas, lawns and roads. Rain water is then collected in rainwater harvesting pit with overflow connection to the nearest municipal water drain. In certain cases the rain water from roofs is collected separately and used for non domestic purposes such as washing of car parking areas, flushing etc.

Central Hot Water Generation and Supply

Hot water generators of adequate capacity are designed based upon the hot water demand and ambient temperature of the cold water feed. Hot water generators are suitably located along with ancillaries such as plate heat exchangers, soft water plant, fuel oil supply tank, hot water mixing tank and hot water return pumping system.

Water Treatment

We plan the water treatment in accordance with the total quantity of water that is required to be treated, the water analysis report of raw/source water and its ultimate purpose. The domestic water qualities parameters are considered in accordance to limit prescribed by the local codes. Various options for water treatment equipment include filtration units, softener Units, dozing Units, pH Correction or RO units.

Sewage Treatment Plant

STP is designed to ensure that treated effluent characteristics are well within the permissible limits, even under varying flow conditions. The treated, disinfected waste water from STP is stored and reused for flushing, as make up water for cooling towers for air conditioners, DG sets and for external horticulture.

The STP comprises of Preliminary treatment unit (Grease trap, bar screen, or equalization tank), biological treatment unit (based upon the treatment technology adopted for the project) and the tertiary treatment unit (Pre-filtration tank, sand filter, activated carbon filter or UV unit).
